  5. Fixed an issue where the batch script function SetResolutionToOriginal failed to work.
  6. When using the batch scripting the software now allows you to scan for all images under a specified folder - see the help file section 'Scripting' -> 'Creating Image List Files' for more information on using the question mark (?) symbol in image list files.
  7. Updated the batch scripting functions SaveToFolder, SaveToFolderJpeg, SaveToFolderJpegWithTargetSize, and SaveToFolderTiff to include an optional parameter (recreateoriginalfolderstructure). The parameter allows you to specify if the software should recreate the original folder hierarchy to the destination folder when saving processed images - see the help file for more information.

  1. Added support for the Bulgarian language.
  2. Added functionality to the 'Add Text' panel to allow rotation of text to any angle (specified in degrees).
  3. Added functionality to the 'Add Text' panel for right align, left align and centering of text (where you have multiple lines of text).
  4. Added functionality to the 'Add Text' panel to include semi-transparent text.
  5. Added two new batch script functions - AddTextWithRotation and AddTextByPositionWithRotation - see Help file for details.
  6. Added functionality to update the file list using drag and drop from Windows Explorer. Users can now drag and drop a single image file, multiple image files, and / or a folder containing image files from Windows Explorer onto the file list.
  7. Altered functionality to stop the software from allowing users to add the same image file multiple times to the file list.
  8. Fixed an issue where image overlays and text are positioned incorrectly by 1px on the x and y axis when they are specified via position and offset method.

Release Notes -

  1. Added functionality to allow file name and Exif information to be added to processed images via the use of special tags entered into the 'Enter Text' text box on the 'Text Options' panel. For more information on the Special Tags that can be used please refer to the Help file (see the section 'Controls -> The Text Options Panel') that ships with this version of the software.
  2. When the software is closed the current image processing settings are saved and will be loaded the next time the software is used.
  3. The Window State of the software is saved when closed. Next time the software is loaded the saved Window State will be also be loaded. E.g. if you close the application and its Maximised, the next time you run the software it will appear Maximised.
  4. Software now remembers the last folder that you added images to the file list from (after software close and load).
  5. Improved the information reported when an error occurs in the software to help development team track the cause of errors in the software.
  6. Added a command line argument /clearconfig which can be used to clear Multiple Image Resizer .NET's configuration files back to factory default.
  7. Fixed a problem where the window layout failed to save when the software is closed which could cause an error on Windows Vista.
  8. Fixed a problem where the some image options tabs could be disabled even though they were ticked in the processing options tab.
  9. Fixed some other minor cosmetic issues.

  1. Multiple Image Resizer .NET is now multilingual - languages currently supported by user interface are English, Spanish, and Dutch.
  2. Altered the default image processing options when the software loads to help new users.
  3. Added File Replace Warning option to the Save Options panel. If File Replace Warning is ticked the software will prompt you if you would like to overwrite an existing image file.
  4. Fixed a problem with Tiff compression not working correctly.
  5. Fixed an issue where Tiff to Tiff conversion does not retain the original bits per pixel on the processed image (e.g. 1 BPP Tiffs converted will now be saved as 1 BPP instead of 32 BPP).
  6. Added two new script functions - SaveToFolderJpegWithTargetSize and SaveToSubFolderJpegWithTargetSize - see Help file for details.

Release Notes -

First release in the 2.x.x.x series of Multiple Image Resizer .NET. This version has been rewritten from scratch and uses the Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0. The same functionality featured in 1.x.x.x series has been incorporated but we've made a number of additional improvements and enhancements including:

  1. Image Overlay Feature - Allows you to overlay/water-mark your images with another image.
  2. Command Line Batch Image Processing using the Multiple Image Resizer .NET scripting language.
  3. You can change the order of the image processing functionality.
  4. Multiple Image Resizer .NET is now language ready - if you would like to see the application in your own language then please help us translate it.
  5. You can save/load image processing profiles.
  6. We've added a new way to specify the location of text added to images.
  7. Improved the processed and unprocessed image viewer.
  8. Improved the visual cropping tool.
  9. Plus we've improved many other areas of the software (too many to mention!)
